Biak (ANTARA) – Pemerintah Kabupaten Biak Numfor, Papua, melalui operasional mitra usaha Sentra Kelautan Perikanan Terpadu (SKPT) Biak hingga pertengahan Agustus 2023 telah merealisasikan ekspor ikan tuna segar ke Jepang mencapai 140,4 ton.

“Jumlah hasil ekspor ikan tuna jenis Yellow Fins dari Biak dengan tujuan Narita Jepang ditargetkan terus meningkat,” kata Kepala Dinas Perikanan Biak Numfor Effendi Iggrisa dihubungi di Biak, Jumat.

Ia mengatakan, apalagi dengan adanya penambahan penerbangan Batik Air dari bandara Frans Kaisiepo Biak diharapkan bisa mendukung ekspor ikan tuna ke negara tujuan Jepang.
